INTEGRA's DIRECTOR :
Wyn Pryce has over 38 years experience in industry, business and economic development. He started his working life in 1967 as a management trainee with a national engineering company, before joining Ford Motor Company in 1970 at Swansea as a Material Controller. In 1978, he joined the WDA at Swansea as a Management Advisor, where he concentrated on helping companies develop their business plans, and also put together many projects which benefited from Government and European assistance.
In 1984, he moved to Carmarthen, as Regional Manager and subsequently Regional Director, to set up a new WDA Regional Office covering West Wales. Here he further developed his business plan philosophy, putting particular emphasis on ensuring viable projects came to fruition. In the 5 years of his stewardship the Regional Office established a credible reputation for developing business opportunities. He successfully led his team, not only in achieving fully their targets, but also in devising and carrying through many new and positive schemes.
In 1988 he successfully pioneered the idea of a Business Plan for a town, when "The Tenby Product " was launched. This was subsequently followed by a similar exercise for Milford Haven, and has subsequently been widely copied. Wyn is well known in the Welsh business community, and has many contacts in most business sectors throughout the UK and Europe.
He holds the HND in Business Studies; is Secretary of the West Wales Business Initiative; is past-Chairman of the West Wales Consortia of Business Connect Wales and was the CBI representative on a Welsh Office Task Group advising on the best use of European Objective 1 funds.
